Oksana Karvehina’s professional career combines entrepreneurship, education, competition organization, industry media, and the development of original professional concepts within the beauty industry.
Her entrepreneurial and organizational work began in Ukraine, where she founded MAGIK Hair Studio and UKRSALON — a professional beauty industry magazine and online portal. Through these projects, she initiated and organized professional beauty competitions, educational programs, seminars, master classes, and collaborative industry events.
Her projects included the MAGIK Beauty competitions in 2010 -2012 featuring professional categories in hairdressing, makeup artistry and Body Art, as well as subsequent Body Art and Hair Extension competitions and collaborative projects with major professional beauty exhibitions.
Her responsibilities extended beyond event organization. She developed competition concepts and categories, coordinated professional judging panels, invited recognized industry experts and educators, organized educational programs and master classes, worked with professional partners and participants, and supported industry promotion through specialized beauty media.
Continuing Her Professional Career in the United States
After relocating to the United States, Oksana continued and expanded her professional activities, combining salon ownership, education, brand development, original methodology, professional judging, speaking, and participation in major beauty-industry events.
Today, she is the founder of OxyOxy Beauty™, a professional beauty and hair brand, and the creator and founder of Invisible Hair Extension System™ — her proprietary hair-extension system developed through decades of professional experience.

She also operates OxyOxy Beauty Salon & Hair Studio in Florida and develops professional training programs for hair-extension specialists, including hands-on education, advanced training, master classes, and professional certification.

(EN) MAGIK Beauty 2011 was the 2nd Annual Professional Hairdressing and Makeup Competition held in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, on November 24–25, 2011, as part of the Zaporizhzhia Beauty Salon 2011 exhibition.
Oksana Karvehina, founder of MAGIK Hair Studio and Ukrsalon, served as the founder and lead organizer of the competition. She organized and coordinated the championship program, multiple professional competition categories, judging activities, educational master classes, and professional presentations for participating beauty specialists.
The competition brought together professionals from multiple Ukrainian cities and included an extensive program of hairdressing categories such as Creative Hairstyle, Evening Hairstyle, Fashion Haircut & Styling, Bridal Braiding, Avant-Garde and Postiche Work, Historical Hairstyles, Stylish Curls, International Bridal Hairstyles, and Women’s Evening Hairstyle for Long Hair.
The professional program also included Makeup and Body Art disciplines, expanding the event beyond hairdressing and bringing together specialists from different areas of the beauty industry.
In addition to the competition, MAGIK Beauty 2011 featured professional seminars, master classes, demonstrations, and educational activities presented by beauty professionals and industry companies.
As founder and lead organizer, Oksana Karvehina created a multidisciplinary professional platform combining competition, education, technical development, and industry networking for beauty professionals.

Participants were required to create a complete artistic image corresponding to the competition theme.
The regulations permitted a variety of professional body-painting techniques and materials. The completed presentation incorporated body painting together with the model’s overall visual concept.
The competition rules specifically addressed:
• body-painting technique and materials;
• model presentation;
• costume and decorative elements;
• makeup;
• hairstyle;
• manicure and pedicure;
• integrity of the final artistic image.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM & MASTER CLASSES
As part of MAGIK Beauty 2011, Oksana Karvehina and the organizing team coordinated a professional educational program featuring seminars and master classes by leading Ukrainian beauty professionals. The educational program ran alongside the competition on November 24–25, 2011.

(EN) Beauty 2010 was the 1st Interregional Hairdressing Competition held on November 19, 2010, in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, at the Kozak Palats Exhibition Center, 70-B Peremohy Street. The competition was held as part of the Zaporizhzhia Beauty Salon 2010 professional exhibition, which took place November 18–20, 2010.
The event was organized by Zaporizhzhia Expo Center and MAGIK Hair Studio, founded and led by Oksana Karvehina. As the founder of MAGIK Hair Studio and a competition organizer, Oksana Karvehina was involved in creating and coordinating a professional platform designed to support the development of hairdressing professionals, promote professional excellence, and encourage the creative development of beauty-industry specialists.

Each category was governed by professional competition requirements and evaluation criteria addressing technical execution, cleanliness and precision of the work, creativity, overall image, styling, and compliance with the individual category requirements.
The Hair Extensions category was conducted as an 80-minute professional competition. Participants performed hair extensions in the occipital area using at least 60 extension strands. The judging criteria included safety, speed and cleanliness of execution, commercial suitability, extension technique, the appearance of the extensions, and color selection.
The competition was created to promote professional hairdressing, support the professional growth and creative potential of specialists, and contribute to the development and visibility of professional hair services.
Oksana Karvehina was the founder and organizer of the professional competition through her MAGIK Hair Studio. She developed and coordinated the competition program, professional categories, educational activities, and master classes for participating beauty professionals.
The championship brought together professional hairstylists and beauty specialists and featured a broad range of competitive categories, including Creative Hairstyle, Men’s Haircut & Styling, Evening Hairstyle, Fantasy Hairstyle, Bridal Hairstyle, Postiche Work, Creative Haircut & Color, Fantasy Afro-Braiding, Hair Extensions, and Bridal Hairstyle with Braiding Elements.
The event also incorporated professional education and demonstrations designed to support the development of technical skills, creativity, and professional standards within the beauty industry.
